Constant Candle was born when founders and friends Rachael and Nicky grew frustrated that replacing a scented candle meant buying a new candle with a brand-new candle holder, something that struck them as hugely wasteful. That’s why Constant Candle came up with the idea of refilling any of your existing candle holders.
Constant Candle supplies everything you need to create a new candle sustainably - direct to your door. Pre-fragranced luxury eco-friendly candle wax to heat and pour into a candle holder of your choice, cotton wick plus a wooden wick holder together with instructions and videos.
High street candles are made from paraffin or mineral wax with nasty toxins. Many people are unaware that paraffin wax, commonly used in candles, is a byproduct of crude oil, which “basically means you’re burning fossil fuels in your own home” according to the UK Governments Clean Air Strategy guidelines. Candle fragrances may also contain phthalates, linked with numerous health concerns.
We allow you to refill your existing candle holders with our eco-friendly scented wax for the same cost as a high street candle.
Constant Candle have also teamed up with Somerset Ceramics Artist Bridget Hemmings to offer an exclusive range of 'Forever Holders' - ceramic candle holders created especially for The Constant Candle Company. These handmade and unique vessels are created using porcelain in a range of colours, all with the artist’s signature gold lustre rim and can be refilled with Constant Candle Company wax refills time after time.
